The Future Industry Leaders Alliance (FILA) provides education, networking, and mentoring to industry leaders to prepare them for executive advancement and professional leadership in the waste and recycling industry.

Conditions of Membership

To be eligible for membership in the Future Industry Leaders Alliance (FILA), applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Employer Membership: Your company must be a member in good standing with the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA).
- Age Requirement: You must be 45 years of age or younger.
- Professional Criteria: You must meet at least one of the following:
  - Have a minimum of three years of work experience in the waste and recycling industry, or
  - Manage at least 15% of the gross revenue or assets of your employer.
- Membership Fee: FILA requires an annual membership fee of $250, separate from NWRA membership dues.
Required Application Materials
To complete your application, you must submit the following:
- One letter of recommendation from an executive at your current company
- One reference from a contact at a different company (NWRA will reach out to this individual directly)
- One reference from a current FILA member

By my signature below, I hereby authorize and give National Waste & Recycling Assoication (“NWRA”) and its employees, members, agents and contractors (“Representatives”) the absolute, irrevocable and perpetual right and permission with respect to any photographs, videos and/or quotes (collectively, “Media”) that are provided by or taken of me in which I may be included, to use, re-use, publish and re-publish the same in whole or in part without restriction as to changes or alteration, individually or in conjunction with other photographs, videos and/or quotes, in any medium or form of distribution, and for any purpose whatsoever, including without limitation, editorial purposes, global internal and external communications, promotional and advertising uses, and other trade purposes for NWRA and its websites.
